Painting is the universal tool that children have used for
years to set their imaginations free on paper and unfortunately on the
occasional wall. I love doing all sorts of projects with my kids involving
paints, so when I noticed that were running low; we decided to do something a
little different by actually making homemade paint from scratch.
Sure you can go to the nearest store and pick up your own paint, but where’s the fun in that? Making it with your kids is not only eco-friendly; it's cheaper and it’s a great hands-on project that your kids will love.

Here's what you'll need:
Some flour
Some water
Some food coloring
Encourage your children to get involved and be helpers by allowing them to mix the solution. Just make sure that it's mixed well.
