In a couple of days, it will finally be springtime.
It couldn't have come at a better time; I don't know about you guys, but this has been one of the worst winters in about 30 years and I'm tired of shoveling snow.
Spring is a significant time of the year for many families because of the traditions they share. These traditions vary from the religious (Passover, Palm Sunday), to the entertaining (Easter egg hunts), to the hygienic (spring cleaning). This is the theme of our giveaway.
I've partnered with Vivaneskha (Vivi), owner of Jenvy Accessories. Vivi is extremely skilled and specializes in handmade accessories such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and more. The winner of this giveaway will get up to $30 to spend on any item from her store. Here are some of the items:

ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition is having a big family Easter egg hunt! I just love watching all of the kids running around laughing and screaming and finding eggs with candy, prizes and money in them!
ReplyDeleteI like starting a garden--planting greens, starting tomato plants, pepper plants, etc.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was little we'd spend hours dialing time and temperature on a rotary phone until we we're allowed to hook up the hoses, sprinklers, water toys etc. Then run to my grandmother and recall on the nearest phone so she knew it was 80 degrees. As an adult I suspect it just kept us out of her hair and it wasn't a long distance call.
ReplyDeleteWe love our long walks and the playing in the park and enjoying the spring blooms! Something we miss all along winter!

So many lovely traditions! I remember growing up and finding eggs all over our house (we lived in an apartment) so my sister and I would wake up to find all the places the Easter bunny had left us little eggs. In school we always painted eggs, which was always fun. So now I do the same thing for my son. The night before the "Easter bunny" leaves him eggs hidden all around the house with toys, candies, money and a big basket full of goodies. I just love chasing him around and taking pictures. (NOT ENTERING THE CONTEST, JUST WANTED TO SHARE WITH ALL OF YOU, I'm VIVI THE OWNER OF JENVY ACCESSORIES) :) <3
